This week taught me that when Self-Love is difficult we strap on our boots, roll up our sleeves and get to work. We make a list of what is priority to us and find ways to incorporate those things into our days. We don't move against the new rhythm of the season, we wait until we have internalized it's consistency and understand its depths then we move with it.

This Self-Love journey has been the most painful process of my entire life. Many times, the media paints Self-Love as this simple process filled with bathbombs and butterflies. Self-Love is so much more than that. It demands that we give our very best and become our best selves. The journey itself is long and grueling.
This Free-Thinking Friday I wanted to share an honest piece I wrote at 1:03am Wednesday morning.
I have learned that persistence, consistency and perseverance allow me to grow as a human. My very existence calls persistence, consistency and perseverance.
