A tribute to a whirlwind of a woman whose gift has changed lives forever
This is a poem I wrote during a very difficult breakup. For years I haven’t shared it out of respect for the other person involved. I’m sharing it today because a healthy amount of time has finally passed.
I found a note in my phone from January 14, 2016. I don't quite remember what situation I was writing about but I still resonate with the words of my 19 year-old self. I hope these words speak to you the way they spoke to me today.
