Today’s post is an open letter to my paternal grandmother about the relationship between memory & age and those who witness the withering of a loved one.
Happy Self-Love Sunday everyone! Today you are your greatest ally & the fact that you made it this far is enough cause for celebration.
Today: A reflective piece on therapy, depression and the desire to make sense of feelings that don’t fit perfectly into a box.
Make space for forgiving yourself and appreciating your journey.
This letter is for you. These are the words I needed for years. Take what you need from this letter today and spread love to everyone around you
This is a poem I wrote during a very difficult breakup. For years I haven’t shared it out of respect for the other person involved. I’m sharing it today because a healthy amount of time has finally passed.
Since life ebbs and flows, an opportunity to reflect is what we need to remind us of how far we've come. Unfair expectations and unmet goals can make us feel like failures but progress, whether large or small is still progress and we should be grateful for it.
