Today’s post contains the musings of a woman still defining “Self” and “Love” and more importantly, “Self-Love”
This Free-Thinking Friday post is a poem I wrote last year about two entities I know too well, Anxiety and Depression.
Self-Love calls us to positive and affirming thinking. Let’s all agree to putting in effort to rewire our brains to more positive thinking.
I’m learning to grieve & my humanity shapes my ability to do so. This Free-Thinking Friday post is composed of the words that have been floating in my mind. I hope you can resonate with them.
I wrote an open letter to myself because there were just some things I needed to express and understand. I admonish you to start the healing process by forgiving yourself today.
When I was younger, I used to find myself writing beautiful poems about boys who didn’t deserve them. It took me years to realize that I deserved the same amount of energy and attention that I was giving to those who didn’t know how to reciprocate it.
This Self-Love Sunday I wanted to share an experience I’m still working to fully understand. All I know for sure is, I can’t save the world.
